Mary Starts a Newsletter!Remember FIZZ? That was the paid subscription newsletter I once snail-mailed to many of you. This website followed, then my Etsy store, and a page on facebook. It’s getting too much for me to maintain all that while trying to write books and make art. So instead, I am making most of my work available on Etsy, and offering a free, “mostly monthly” newsletter. So check out my new comic strip newsletter for November. Please fill out the Opt In Form—I'm not allowed to just send it to everyone on my email list—so I can keep you up on my latest work.

Writing/Painting Workshop starts January 5
There's still time to sign up for the first of four unusual writing/illustrating workshops this January.
Our first session will address the scary blank page. Putting pencil to paper, whether as writing or as a line in a drawing is about as scary as creating gets. We have some tricks to side step that obstruction.
