Find below my new blog (first posted on February 19), in which I challenge my fairly nonexistent drawing skills. But as usual, I do whatever I really want to do, whether I'm any good at it or not.

I've gotten help from my artistic friends, for which I am deeply grateful. These samples are quite an improvement. But I'm unable to decide whether I like the short or the long version. Please feel free to email me with any suggestions.

I fell in love with Miriam Engelberg when I read her unsentimental but never mean graphic memoir of her breast cancer experience. It's not an easy read. Coming out of that book, Oprah's show on "The Secret" (intention and gratitude will get you what you want) felt flip.
